The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions processed by mattress24.co.uk ("the Conditions"). All orders made are subject to the acceptance of these Conditions, and deemed to be accepted by you when placing your order. These Conditions do not affect your statutory rights. These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice and supersede all previous editions.

1. Payment
- We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these Conditions. You are deemed to accept the Conditions when you place an order for goods with us. Our contract with you only begins when we confirm acceptance of your offer to purchase goods from us. An order will not take place (and we will not be deemed to have accepted your order) until we have validated and confirmed your payment. Any communication, which you receive from us prior to validation, is not to be deemed as an acceptance of your order. In the event of any pricing error occurring within our website, within a written or verbal quotation, or contained within any fax or e-mail correspondence however received, all incomplete orders shall be deemed void.
- We accept all major credit cards, cheques, wire transfer & BACS payments. In addition we accept official purchase orders from Local Authorities, Government, Education, Financial, Healthcare, & other official corporate bodies at our sole discretion.
- All cheque, BACS, and wire payments must be cleared before any goods can be dispatched (please allow up-to 7 working days for clearance). Purchase Orders should be faxed on ..................................... to reserve your goods. However, no goods will be dispatched until we are in receipt of the original order. Our bank details for BACS and Wire payments are available from our sales team on ..................................
- Many of the goods we sell are of a technical nature and whilst we endeavour to publish as much information as is practical about the goods, the descriptions of the goods are as set out on the website. All drawings, photographs, descriptive matter, colour, specifications and advertising on our website are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the goods. They will not form part of the contract between us.
- Ownership of the goods shall not pass to you until we have received payment in full (cleared funds).
- Your order for goods is subject to stock availability. If we do not supply goods to you for any reason we will inform you of the situation and will not charge you for those goods, and will refund any money already paid by you for these goods. We are not liable for any financial loss incurred by you relating to interest payments, or loss of earnings, or similar gains you would have received on monies paid to us in lieu of any unfulfilled order.
- All prices quoted or displayed are in UK pounds sterling and shall be the price, inclusive of VAT & delivery, set out on the website at the time your order is placed. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in, or the imposition of any new taxes or duties. If due to an error or omission the price published for the goods on our website is wrong we have the right to terminate an order provided the goods have not been dispatched. We will try to ensure that all prices displayed on our website are accurate, but should an error occur we would inform you of the correct price and give you an opportunity to cancel the order.
- Payment for goods must be made in accordance with our purchase procedure as set out on our website. All orders are positively credit card sanctioned prior to dispatch. We can accept no responsibility if any details you provide us with that are incorrect or if any order is held up as a result of incorrect or unsubstantiated details. Payments made using a credit card are authorised using a secure credit card facility.
2. Delivery
- Deliveries are made by a National carrier on a next day insured service, all deliveries will be made to your doorstep (should you live in a block of flats then delivery will be made to the first door of the building). We shall not be held responsible should you dispose of your current mattress before our delivery.
- Delivery of the goods shall be made to UK mainland addresses only and must be signed for. The address will be that registered with your payment card issuer, unless you request otherwise and we agree to such a request (at our sole discretion).
- We undertake that for all online or telephone orders received by 2pm Monday to Friday, (excluding Bankholidays), delivery will take place the next working day (Saturday deliveries are available at extra cost), or on a day that suits your requirements. All deliveries are made between 8am and 17:00pm (in some remote areas we cannot guarantee an a.m. service (see postcodes below in 2.7). However, we shall not be liable for any loss, which may be suffered by you caused by any delay of delivery unless caused by our negligence.
- In the unlikely event of us not being able to fulfil your order, due to the item being out of stock or other unforseen circumstances, we will contact you by telephone or email. You will be offered an alternative product or the option to delay delivery until the next available delivery date for the item required. We will keep you fully informed, you retain the right to cancel the order and receive a full refund of any monies paid.
- We will deliver to business addresses at your request but stress that if instructed to do so, the card used in the transaction must be officially registered to that address. Also you are agreeing that anyone situated at your business address has your written authority to accept goods on your behalf. We will accept no responsibility for goods once they have been delivered to and signed for at the requested address.
- We deliver to England, Wales and Scotland including the Grampians and Highlands.
Please note that we do not deliver to:
Northern Ireland, Eire, Dublin County, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Offshore Scottish Islands and the Channel Islands.
- We cannot guarantee next day a.m. deliveries or Saturday deliveries on the following postcode areas:
AB, DD, DG6-9, EH, FK, G63, G83-84, HS, IV, KW, KY, PH, PO30-41, SY20, SY23-25.
(Grampian and the Highlands are available on a 3-5 day service).
3. Replacements and Refunds
- If an item is found to be damaged or faulty on receipt, contact us by phone or email. You can choose either to receive a replacement item or to receive a refund. You have 24 hours from receipt of goods to report damage. Or we will deem damage to be caused after delivery.
- Where goods are found to be faulty we will send you a replacement and arrange the return of the faulty item. We will meet all delivery and return costs. Returned goods must be adequately packed.
- Where the decision is made to return faulty goods, we will refund the total cost of the order, as soon as we receive the item back. Returned faulty goods must be adequately packed.
- We will provide a refund if the product you have selected is found to be unsuitable within 7 working days following delivery, providing the product is returned in it's original box, in 'as new' condition, unmarked and all polyutherane packaging un-opened. Please make sure you are happy with your purchase before removing from the plastic packaging, we regret that we cannot accept mattresses back once they have been opened. An additional fee of £30.00 will be made for collection (or refusal of delivery) of goods deemed unsuitable but not faulty. Once you have received your Order Confirmation email, should you wish to cancel you order a £10.00 cancellation fee will apply. We cannot accept returns on any vaccuum packed mattresses once they have been opened. Pillows can only be returned by recorded delivery at the customers expense, in its original packaging.
- It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that goods are confirmed to be undamaged and correct in terms of size, colour and any other permutation before signing as received, should goods be received and signed and later reported as damaged or incorrect it is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the goods are returned in all original packaging in as new condition otherwise the buyer will void the return policy. In the case of divans and mattresses these items should be checked before opening the packaging as once opened we are unable to accept returns.
- Refunds for Goods not yet dispatched: In situations where the item has not yet been sent, we will refund your payment straight away.
- Cancellation Procedure: To cancel your order, contact us by phone or email. Our customer services numbers and addresses are shown below. Exclusions are detailed above.
4. Guarantee
- All new goods are sold with the benefit of a minimum 12-month manufacturers guarantee. Full warranty details are available with your product, or from our customer services team. It is your responsibility to complete and return the purchase registration form enclosed with the goods to the manufacturer.
- If these goods are deemed tampered with in any way your warranty will become void and you will become responsible for the costs of replacement and return shipping. If no manufacturing fault is found you will be responsible for the costs of replacement and return shipping. Wherever possible we will respond to your individual circumstances. BedHouse.co.uk will not be liable for any transit damage that may occur on any product you have returned to us for replacement. We strongly suggest that you make sure you have used sufficient packaging to protect your product and insure against damage before returning any product for replacement. For advice on how to pack your goods safely before return please contact our customer service team.
- The warranty does not cover, accidental damage, modifications to, failure(s) not due to manufacturing defect(s), when any warranty void sticker has been tampered with, failure to comply with the original manufacturers conditions of intended use, any accessories supplied. BedHouse.co.uk cannot be held responsible for any costs arising from unauthorised repairs to equipment during the warranty period. Only BedHouse.co.uk or the manufacturer or their authorised service agents can carry out any warranty work. Any unauthorised repairs or repair attempts will void the warranty.
- In relation to new goods the company will accept liability for defective goods only to the extent that the company is entitled to make a claim under the manufacturer's or publishers warranty and obtain from the manufacturer or publisher a refund, credit, repair or replacement of the defective goods.
5. Credit Card Payments
- We reserve the right to refuse to supply to individuals whose credentials cannot be verified, We will use discretion in these matters and will not authorize payment or supply unless we are completely satisfied that the order is legitimate.
- We can make deliveries to addresses that are different from the registered billing address for your chosen method of payment, however we do need to conduct a futher security screening process. In some instances this may affect your chosen delivery date, in order to help us process these security checks efficiently please call us on ............................... before 2pm on the day you place your order, or by 2pm the following working day if you placed your order after 2pm or at a weekend.
6. Confirmation of your order
- Once the order has been placed, we will send you an email of confirmation including:
- Contact Details
- The total price
- An order / reference no.
- Instructions of how to contact us.
2. The order confirmation will act as a receipt, we will be pleased to provide any additional documentation you may require.
7. Complaints
- Complaints should be made initially by e-mail and will be acknowledged within 1 working day.
- Your complaint will be dealt with fairly and confidentially, and we will keep you fully informed of progress.
